Brand Licensing Europe 2022

The Brand Licensing Europe show returned to London’s ExCel Centre this week.

Amongst the familiar faces of Sega, Playstation, and of course the Moomins, the booths of some of the major European sports clubs were busy. Clients of QP, AC Milan presented their earlier released capsule collection with Koché x Puma, as seen at Paris Fashion Week, which uses up-cycled AC Milan shirts. An innovative way to rise to the challenge of improving sustainability whilst still making valuable sales with seasonal kit launches.

Around the traditional licensing offerings on show there was quite a buzz about turning to digital assets and how licensing has started to realise the commercial opportunities that can be achieved through Web3, especially with the growing trend towards digital collectables. Expect to see ever more creative brand partnerships and collaborations in this space.
